Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Triple Threat Basketball Training ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Play Maker Studio app (the "App") and visit triplethreatbasketballtraining.com (the "Site"). By using the App or Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1Information We Collect

Account information

When you create a coach account, we collect and store:

• Your email address.
• A password (stored in hashed, encrypted form by our authentication provider — we never see or store your plaintext password).
• An optional display name.

If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple shares your name and email address with us to create your account. You may ask Apple to hide your email, in which case Apple provides a private relay address instead of your real one, and we only ever see the relay address.

Content you create

The App stores the plays you design — player positions, phases, movement, and notes. These are saved on your device and, when you are signed in, synced to your account so they appear on your other devices. A play is a small text file (a few kilobytes); it contains no personal information beyond what you type into it.

Exports stay on your device. PDFs and videos you generate from a play are created on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. Only the small play definition is ever synced.

What we don't collect

• No advertising identifiers, and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
• No location data, contacts, photos, or microphone access beyond what you explicitly choose to use for a given feature.
• No tracking of your activity across other apps or websites.

2How We Use Your Information

We use the information above only to:

• Create and secure your account and sign you in.
• Sync your plays across the devices where you are signed in.
• Respond to support requests you send us.
• Maintain the security and reliability of the App and Site.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

3How Your Information Is Stored

Accounts and sync are powered by Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), a service operated by Google LLC. Your email and synced plays are stored on Google's secured cloud infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted connections. Firebase processes this data on our behalf; you can review Google's practices in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.

Plays are also stored locally on your device so the App works offline.

4Sharing and Disclosure

We share your information only in these limited cases:

• Service providers: Google Firebase, for authentication and sync, as described above.
• Apple: if you use Sign in with Apple, the sign-in exchange is handled by Apple.
• Legal requirements: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

We never sell your data to third parties.

5Your Choices and Rights

• Access and update: your plays and profile are visible and editable inside the App at any time.
• Delete your account: you can delete your account from within the App. Deleting your account removes your account record and the plays synced to it. Depending on your local laws, you may also request deletion by emailing us.
• Work offline: you can use the App without signing in; in that case plays stay only on your device and nothing is synced.

6Data Retention

We keep your account information and synced plays for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, the associated data is removed from our active systems. Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten.

7Children's Privacy

Play Maker Studio is a coaching tool designed for coaches, trainers, and parents — not for children. The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8Security

We rely on industry-standard measures — encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and Google's secured infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to promptly address any issues we discover.

9Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated within the App or on this page. Continued use of the App or Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
